Half-Day Preschool

We are committed to serving three and four-year-olds in our morning preschool program. You may be wondering when your child is ready for a more structured preschool experience — socially, emotionally, and developmentally — and what kind of environment will help them thrive. Our half-day morning preschool at Christ Lincoln Schools offers a gentle, Christ-centered introduction to school, where young children explore, play, and learn in a small-group setting while still enjoying plenty of time at home each day.

We know every family’s early childhood journey looks different, so we walk alongside parents from the start of the admissions process to understand each child’s needs and readiness. Our preschool blends developmentally appropriate learning, nurturing relationships, and Christian values to support growth in every area and lay a strong foundation for Kindergarten.

Our preschool program is licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and recognized as a Step Up to Quality provider. In our classrooms, experienced, degreed educators guide children through rich learning experiences that support both faith development and school readiness. Each day includes a balance of story time, hands-on learning explorations, choice play, and both small and large group activities. Children are encouraged to build social independence, practice problem-solving skills, and grow in confidence as they interact with peers and teachers. Through this nurturing, Christ-centered environment, we help lay a strong foundation for a successful transition into Kindergarten.
