September 2024 Mission of the Month and Core Essential

September's Mission of the Month is Christian Heritage. Christian Heritage's mission is to "Change the future of child welfare in Nebraska by mobilizing a Gospel-centered community to support vulnerable children and families." They do this through the three programs: Families Together, Foster Care, and Beyond Prison.

September's Core Essential is "Compassion".

This month we will be talking about how we can show compassion to our classmates, old friends, new friends and even strangers by caring about and fill the needs of others. Compassion was a key part of Jesus' ministry. He regularly healed the sick and gave hope for the least of this world, by bringing his message of salvation to the poor first! Please talk about how your family can show compassion to others throughout this month! #LoveOthers
