October 2024 Mission of the Month and Core Essential 2

October's Mission of the Month is City Impact. Through a Christ-centered Biblical worldview, City Impact empowers and equips kids and families to rise above vulnerable circumstances, radically transforming into who God created them to be. This month, our Elementary students will hear a special message in chapel about City Impact and they will be collecting children's books to supplement their children's library. 

September's Core Essential is "Self-Control".

Self-Control is choosing to do what's best even when you don't want to. Throughout the month our classrooms will be talking about how we can show self-control in our thoughts and actions both in school and at home. Being one of the Fruits of the Spirit, Self-Control is a key biblical teaching and we will be talking about the importance of having and showing self-control throughout our lives as we live out our missiong of serving Christ.
