Christ Lincoln Schools is committed to providing a learning environment that supports and promotes wellness, good nutrition, and an active lifestyle and recognizes the positive relationship between good nutrition, physical activity and the capacity of the students to develop and learn. The entire school environment shall be aligned with healthy school goals to positively influence students’ beliefs and habits and promote health and wellness, good nutrition and regular physical activity.

 

To encourage wellness and to help teach good food choices, Christ Lincoln Schools participates in the USDA's National School Lunch program and provides hot and cold lunch options encouraging balanced and healthy food choices. Milk is served with every meal and a salad bar filled with fresh vegetable options is open for students every day.

The Summer Food Service Program provides free meals to all children ages 1 through 18 years at participating sites statewide.
